What is the GBYCC?
We are a youth-led climate collective based out of Parry Sound focusing on climate action in and around our community.
What do we do?
We often work with various local organizations (Including The Drop & The Georgian Bay Biosphere) to host programs for other youth like us and facilitate cleanups and volunteer opportunities!

What’s new?
The GBYCC just launched a new program, the GBYCC Outdoors Program! The goal is to provide youth an opportunity to get outdoors with a group of like minded people. The program offers youth a recreational space to hang out and do outdoor activities in a casual group setting. Over the remainder of the year we will meet regularly to explore the Parry Sound region through hiking, biking, and more!
To learn more check our recent blog about the program, and look on our Instagram for upcoming events.
Ready to get involved?
We're always welcoming new members. Whether you're interested in volunteering for the occasional cleanup or becoming a leader in your community, we offer plenty of volunteer opportunities.
